We are at the end of a decade. The end of a decade that has changed the world and the way we perceive it. Technology continues to exceed expectations, we face a rapid influx of media, a change in the way we consume it and social media has become the epicenter of the society we live in.
At the start of the decade we saw the dawn of a revolution in technology. Technology is becoming smaller, lighter and more powerful. Smartphones are coming to the point where they can pack as much if not more processing power than most average laptop computers. These smartphones have now become the centerpiece of the society we live in. The devices we now are starting to use, have the power of laptops, camera units that are comparable in quality and ability to DSLR cameras, and instant access to an interminable amount of information. With the rise of these smartphones and the internet and increase in accessibility of the internet for people, it has only opened new doors, new voices and increased the palette of information available to everyone. This has had a resounding effect on the society that the 20th century had established. Ever since I was very young I have been interested in content creation. I used to make videos and have fun with stuff. Obviously I have not posted much of it but I did some cool stuff. I'll save a lot of that for future content. This semester I was in a Visual Communication class at Indiana University. I learned a lot in this class. this video below is the culmination of that project. This video was shot and edited in a total of 12 hours. I hope you enjoy what you see. Sidenote: in retrospect I do see a lot of issues with this video. There are cutting and possibly audio mixing issues that I could find right off the bat. While this video is exactly what the course required of me, I do not think this is the greatest work I have ever done. I think I am capable of greater content creation and I would like this to be held as the first project I did and that this is the worst I am capable of. the only way from here is up. Here is to the future of my content creation journey. Dear people of the internet,
if you go looking you'll find a bunch of failed blogs I have had over the course of my high school life. I chose not to delete those blogs because they represent a portion of my life. it also tells a story of how my content has evolved over the years. As I have entered college I have begun to narrow on my interests and also better understand content creation. I am putting myself out there and learning new stuff as I go. This is hopefully the beginning of a new chapter in my life and hopefully a new level of content I can create. I am looking forward to showing you what I have been working on and hopefully bring some regularity to this blog and evolve my content over the next couple of years. see you very very soon. - Raghav R.
